75% of vision loss is preventable or treatable. Yet every 65 minutes an ordinary, everyday Australian just like you loses part or all of their vision. With your help we can change this.
julEYE is the only month you can get away with almost anything*, all in the name of charity. Whatever you’ve always wanted to do - or always been scared to do - now’s the time to get out there and do it! Simply ask your mates ‘What would you pay to see me [insert lifelong dream or embarrassing gaffe here]? Whatever it is, whether it’s singing in an opera or learning the trapeze – make it fun and make a difference!
How it works?
1. Come up with a challenge.
Need some inspiration? What would you pay to see me spend a day dressed as Wonder Woman? What would you pay to see us play a rugby match in tutus? What would you pay to see your boss do the coffee run?
2. Register your challenge by creating a GoFundraise page describing what you are doing. You can create an individual challenge, create a team challenge or join a team challenge.
3. Set yourself a fundraising target
4. Go forth and fundraise!
5. Once target is reached, carry out your challenge and post the evidence online
